Apparently the encyclopedia of American military exercises includes the following:
Invade someone who has nothing to do about the problem (if they have oil)
Fire missiles while CNN watch and beam live coverage around the world. (It doesn't really matter where the missiles land, just that they take off impressively)
Blame the president
Blame the previous president
Blame the democrats
Sing the national anthem loudly
Beat up prisoners, post the footage on youtube then complain noone respects you
Let other nations do the hard work, turn up late then claim "We won the war"
BUT Never, ever hang signs saying "Mission Accomplished"

March past Buckingham Palace in funny costumes
Beat up prisoners, sell your story to the Daily Mail, then complain that you don't get enough respect
Make weapons that don't work in sandy conditions and give them to soldiers who work in a desert country
Forget about body armour
Whinge
